A silent happy world

One day we and the whole big family went to a restaurant and when i entered the room, my eyes got fixed with a wonderful view of  a group of mute people in a table and are having conversation, in took me some time to really see that they are actually mute coz i can still hear some laughter from them but when i look again, i can see their hands moving and when someone is “talking” everyone of them watch him closely and sometimes, nod or even laugh. They look very happy, a silent happy world, and it just make me sooo thankfull to God that i can still hear and talk.  That day i learn some happiness from them, that in every situation and maybe even in our disability or bad situation, we can still find happiness if we just be able to try to have a thankful heart, believing that there’s always some goodness that God planned in our every situation.

Kegirangan yang kurindukan

Seorang remaja SMA yang baru saja menyelesaikan UNAS nya kemarin, tidak dapat menyembunyikan kegirangannya setelah menerima telepon dari temannya yang mengajaknya menonton film. Cerita yang sebenarnya bisa disimpan sendiri dalam hati seakan meledak dan tumpah keluar, singkat namun meletup-letup dengan keceriaan yang murni. Keinginan yang polos dan tidak ditahan-tahan yang tidak dapat kau tolak walaupun besok masih ada ujian praktek Bahasa Indonesia, menurutnya mudah kok.
Ya sudah, aku hanya bisa tersenyum geli, namun kenangan akan kegirangan itu tetap ada di hatiku. Sudah berapa lama aku tidak merasakannya, bagi diriku sendiri. Ah, masa remaja telah lewat.

The story of a little girl who loved pearls so much

It’s a story of a little girl who loved pearls so much. She wanted to have a strand of her own so badly, but of course she  couldnt afford it. She finally got a strand of faux pearls, and was delighted, because even if they were not real, she at least had a strand to call her own. Every night her Dad would come to tuck her in, and as he did, he would ask her for the pearls, but she would not hand them over to him. This went on for quite some time til one day, she finally relented and gave them to him. To her amazement, he took her hand again, and in it put the most beautiful strand of pearls she had ever seen. He had been waiting for quite a long time for the chance to give her what He knew was best for her… and He did.

Give everything to God and HE will give back what the best thing for us…
