Ganti Hati

Ini sebenarnya adalah judul buku dari seorang Dahlan Iskan, Chairman of Jawa Pos Group, saya bukan bermaksud untuk mempromosikannya (saya sendiri belum membacanya), tetapi apa yang membuat saya merenung lebih lagi (mengenai hati kita) adalah pada waktu saya menonton salah satu acara talk show di TV yang menjadikan Pak Dahlan sebagai bintang tamunya, dalam kesempatan tersebut beliau bercerita kalau sejak muda ia telah mengetahui banyak dari keluarganya yang mati muda dan ia pun sudah mempersiapkan diri kalaupun ia nantinya juga mati muda.

Be a Hero

Maybe not everybody needs to be a hero, but I think everybody needs one… But actually inside us we have a desire to have a specific purpose that will impact the world in some way, inside us we really want to know who we are, and we want it to be a special, that we are placed on earth for a great purpose.
We don’t need a supernatural ability to become a hero. We see on TV a hero is a person who can fly, or can move a mountain by his/her forefinger or ride a white horse with shinning armor to safe a beautiful princess. Actually we can be a hero in our own neighborhood with whoever we are, whatever we have.
